Lysander Shipping in London and Genoa recently arranged the transport of a large Gas Turbo Generator for the booming Korean shipbuilding industry. The heaviest piece was 160 tonnes with the dimensions 21m long x 4.7m wide x 6.6m high. Lysander Shipping was contracted to carry out the overall transport from Nuovo Pignone’s factory in Massa, just outside Marina di Carrara in Italy to Okpo shipyard in South Korea. In total 3500 cbm including parts and accessories were shipped on m/v Da Tong Yun.
