In July Lysander Shipping arranged for the shipment of wind mill wings factory forms from Nyborg to Gunsan, Korea. The forms were up to 54 m long, 6,5m wide and 5.5 m high, in total the forms added up to 9,000 cbm, all to be stowed and shipped under deck on m/v Jork. The transport from the factory in Stenstrup to the port in Nyborg had to done during night time. Roads were closed and street furniture had to be temporarily dismantled to allow the oversized units safe passage. The forms will be used to manufacture the world’s largest wind mill wings.
